The aces up poker term refers to a hand with two pairs, with one pair being aces. For example, if you have an A, Q hand and the flop produces an A, Q, 8 board, you have aces up.
Moreover, if the flop produces an A, 8, 8 on the community board, you’d still have aces up, as you would have two pairs, one of them aces.
