Air

“Air” in poker refers to having a hand without any value or holding a “nothing hand”, as many poker players would say.
This hand is worthless, and the only way a player holding air can win is by tricking their opponents.
For example, if someone says that they’ve “played poker on air for the last hand,” they’re implying that they didn’t have anything of value and that they have bluffed their way to a win.
