The Anna Kournikova, or simply the Kournikova poker term, is a common slang name for the AK starting hand in Texas Hold’em poker.
It’s named after the Russian tennis player as it spells out her initials. It’s also frequently used with a negative connotation, in the sense that it looks better than it plays.
