Cold Call
0 minutes
A cold call poker move is the action of calling a raise after there’s already been a bet and one or more raises.
Doing a cold call essentially means that you’re calling both the original bet, the raise, and any other raises that may have been made.
For instance, you’re playing a Texas Hold’em game. If someone raises before the flop and you call, you’re making a cold call. This applies to every pre-flop situation where your first action entails calling one or more raises from players to act before.
