Computer Hand
0 minutes
The unusual computer hand poker term is a nickname for a Q, 7 offsuit hand as this is precisely the exact middle hand between an A, A hand and a 7, 2 offsuit hand.
In other words, a player with a Q, 7 has 50% equity against any other two random cards.
This poker hand is confusing to play for many poker players. It can deliver a profit in the long run but is not strong enough as some better-ranked profitable hands.
For example, you might hear this term said by one of the players commenting on their hand after a game, saying something like: “I had a computer hand. I always have trouble deciding how to play it.”
