Muck

A poker muck can refer to several things but revolves around the meaning. As a noun, muck refers to the pile of discarded and dead cards on the poker table. As a verb, to muck means to fold a hand.
In most poker versions, once the cards are folded or misdealt, they should automatically go to the muck and be out for the rest of the hand.
The dealer has the responsibility to keep the mucked cards on one pile and make sure that all of the cards in the muck are face down so that they don’t impact the players’ decisions.
