The outdraw poker term refers to a situation when a player beats their opponent by drawing a better hand. It’s closely related to the term “suck out.”
For example, one player might be leading for the entire hand, and then the opponent can outdraw them on the river to make a straight or flush. In this situation, the player that was an underdog on the flop and the turn wins in the end.
