Pocket Cards

0 minutes
The pocket cards poker term refers to every player’s two cards at the start of every Texas Hold’em game.
Another term for these cards is hole cards, and it includes every facedown card the dealer deals to the players. They are the opposite of community cards.
For example, you might hear some players using this term by saying something like: “My pocket cards were weak, so I decided to fold right away.”
