The pocket rocket poker term refers to a pair of aces in the pocket or hole. This is the best possible starting hand in Texas Hold’em poker.
You’d most likely hear this in a sentence when players are commenting on previous plays or retelling poker stories.
For example, someone might say: “I looked down at my hand in the small blind to find pocket rockets,” or “He re-raised me not knowing that I was holding pocket rockets.”
