Second Pair
0 minutes
The term second pair is used in flop poker variations to refer to a pair made with one pocket card and the second-highest card of the three cards that came up on the flop. It’s also called a middle pair.
For example, if a player has a K, 10 in their hand and the flop produces a Q, 10, and 5, they’ve made a second pair.
