Shootout

A poker shoutout is a type of tournament in which a player must win their table before they can advance to the next round.
This differs from most other tournament formats which merge tables to maintain a balanced field until the final table.
For example, a poker tournament might start with a total of one hundred players, divided across ten tables with ten players each. In a shootout format, each of these tables will play until there’s only one player left.
Then, the final table consists of the remaining ten players, one player from each of the ten starting tables.
This format applies no matter the number of players, as it scales to meet the demands of a 100-player tournament, 1000-player competition, or any other tournament size.
