Steel Wheel
0 minutes
A steel wheel poker term refers to a very strong five-high straight ( A, 2, 3, 4, 5) in which all of the five cards are of the same suit (a five-high straight flush).
It’s not a term many casual poker players are familiar with, but it is one of the cooler ones.
For example, you’ll likely hear someone using this term after a hand, as is the case with many other poker slang terms.
They might say something like: “I knew that there was almost no chance of me losing that hand after flopping the steel wheel right away!”
