Tournament Fee
0 minutes
A poker tournament fee is a small fee that usually goes hand-in-hand with all buy-in tournaments. It’s also called the house fee.
Many tournaments charge it to make sure they make a profit and cover all of the event expenses.
For example, a Texas Hold’em tournament has a $100+$10 buy-in structure. The $100 goes directly into the prize pot to be distributed to the winning players, while the $10 goes to the tournament organizer.
