Turbo

A turbo poker tournament is a competition that has a structure that’s more fast-paced, as the blinds and antes increase much quicker than they do in a regular poker tournament.
These types of tournaments are quite popular online, especially in low buy-in events. That said, you can find these tournaments in many live competitions, even at WSOP.
For example, when you play a regular poker tournament, you can expect a blind level to last anywhere from 45 minutes up to an hour. In comparison, they last much shorter, just around 15 to 30 minutes in turbo MTTs.
